Coptis chinensis (also known as Goldthread) is a traditional Asian herb in many ways similar to its North American brother, Hydrastis canadensis (also known as Goldenseal). 

But not all brothers are alike, Coptis chinensis does contain a larger spectrum and dosage of important alkaloids such as Berberine, Hydrastinine, Coptisine and Palmatine, therefore having an enhanced therapeutic effect.

Recommended dose
