What is it
Vitamin E is well known for its antioxidant properties. However, vitamin E is a generic term, and most people refer to it only as Alpha-tocopherol. In reality, Vitamin E exists in our food in 8 forms: 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols (each form in alpha, beta, gamma and delta sub-forms).
Our E8 Complex formulation includes a complete mixture of 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols, thus providing all 8 forms of Vitamin E. We also included Beta Carotene (pro-vitamin A), a source of retinol, and an antioxidant that acts synergistically with Vitamin E.

Who should take it
Who can benefit?
Recent studies looking at mixed tocopherols may have a stronger inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation than alpha-tocopherol alone, therefore be more benefical for cardiovascular health. However, you should consult a healthcare practitioner before taking this product if you have cardiovascular disease or diabetes (see cautions)
Tocotrienols have recently been in focus of the medical world. For example, recent studies concluded that tocotrienols (not tocopherols), can be beneficial for breast health.
